It's Christmas time! That means that people are a little more happy, a little more excited, and, for the most part, a little more stressed. So, my friends Kyle Hair, Scott Smith, Mike Struthers, Scottie Gemmell, and I got together and formed, for the second year in a row, "Mistletoe," in the hopes that we might be able to relieve some of that stress for others. Now you need to understand that not all of us in Mistletoe can sing very well. I, for one, had to be coached along the whole way, and even after practicing my part for months, I still messed up fequently. But there are a few things which, I believe, make our our little group of Christmas Singers something special. The reason we got together in the first place is because we all have a deep love of music, and we are good friends. We enjoy singing with each other, and spending time together as friends. Secondly, we want to bring a smile to the faces of those we love. We want to spread some holiday cheer, and help people feel that they are being thought of, that they are cared about, and that they are loved. Christmas is a time to reflect on the birth, life, and example of our Savior Jesus Christ. It is our sincere hope that as we sing to serve those around us at this busy, stressful, time of year, that those individuals we sing to will feel the love of God in their lives, will feel a little happier and lighter because of our singing.
