Thanksgiving 2006
Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2006 found me in Provo, Utah. I love Thanksgiving. It has always been one of my favorite holidays. I have so many fond memories of all the extended family gathering together in the living room to eat, playing games with cousins and uncles . . .. I love Thanksgiving. This year Turkey-day found me, not at home with my family, but rather with dear friends. Libby Pond, Jennifer Rhule, and Kyle Hair. I was a little disappointed at first that I would not be able to go home for the holiday, however, I was pleased and grateful that I have such good friends that I was able to spend it with.
Everything from "Spenhairelli's", to the wonderful Turkey Jennifer made, to watching "Finding Neverland", to fun times at Kyle's apartment, and then going out and watching the stars . . . this was a great day, and a Thanksgiving to be remembered. I am truly thankful for so many things. For my life, my health, my family, the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, my relationship with my Father in Heaven, and for my friends. Even though life can be hard at times, I often wonder if there is anyone else who has been more blessed than me. I have so much to be happy about, and have been given so much. This thanksgiving, I'm thankful that I wasn't alone, that my family was safe and happy, and that I have dear friends who love me, and whom I love.
