Oakland Temple Pageant 2005

I was fortunate to be able to see Temple Pageant a second time this year, during the final Saturday Matinee Performance. I went up with my sister, Emmer, and friends Tony, Emily, Vi, Virginia, and Jade. Prior to the performance we attended a presentation on the eternal nature of the family at the visitor's center. The Spirit was strong. I am so grateful to know that I can live with my family gain some day because of thee atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that I am a child of God who loves me deeply—deeply enough to call prophets and apostles to lead and direct me in the right direction, that I may return back to the presence of my God--having become more like Him. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that He did, in reality, see God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ on that spring morning in 1820. I know that the priesthood of God has been restored to the earth with all of the keys and powers and authority needed to bind families together forever. How grateful I am for the gospel I have received, and for the peace and happiness which it daily brings into my life.
